"The blend of Coquerel VSOP was conceived by my grandfather. He wanted to create a perfect harmony between the freshness of the apple and the sweet spice notes brought by aging in small French oak barrels. To achieve this, some of the brandies used in the recipe were aged in 200-liter charred barrels to extract more creaminess, color, spices, and notes of honey and vanillin."
