Shipping Policy
1. Delivery zones
Domaine du Coquerel ships to several European countries, divided into four tariff zones:
- Zone 1: Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands
- Zone 2: United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Ireland
- Zone 3: Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden
- Zone 4: Finland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Romania
Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of the products ordered and the country of destination. The detailed rates are available during cart validation.
2. Delivery times
The delivery time for orders is 5 to 15 business days for in-stock products, after receipt of payment.
Non-business days include Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, as well as days on which road transport is prohibited. These timeframes are indicated in the order confirmation email sent to the customer.
Delivery times may vary depending on the country of destination.
Domaine du Coquerel commits to taking all necessary steps to deliver ordered products as quickly as possible.
3. Delivery terms
Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer at the time of order. Delivery is made by direct handover to the recipient. In case of absence, a delivery notice is left.
Calvados bottles are delivered in cases of 1, 2, 3 or 6 bottles, in a single shipment to a single location.
4. Verification upon delivery
The customer is required to carefully inspect their parcels upon delivery in order to immediately raise any reservations with the carrier.
The information provided by the buyer at the time of order is binding upon them. In the event of an error in the recipient's contact details, the seller cannot be held responsible for the inability to deliver the product.
5. Limitation of liability
Domaine du Coquerel cannot be held liable for losses, damages, errors or delivery failures, provided it is established that circumstances beyond its control exist, namely:
- Force majeure events: war, riot, fire, strikes, natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, road / rail / air accidents, embargoes, supply impossibility.
- Act, omission or negligence of a third party: sender, recipient, any interested third party, customs or any other administration employee, postal services, carrier or any other third party to whom the shipment is entrusted by the transport provider, including to serve areas not directly served by them, even if the sender has not requested or been informed of the use of a third party.
6. International sales
In case of delivery to a country other than mainland France, the buyer is deemed to be the importer of the product(s) concerned.
All local taxes, customs duties or other levies due are the sole responsibility of the buyer. It is the buyer's responsibility to complete all formalities and obtain all necessary authorizations from local authorities to acquire the products, and to ensure that the products comply with local legislative and regulatory requirements.
