Coquerel Rum West Indies Finish - 5 years
1,950 bottles · 70cl · 41% vol. · Natural color
“You are holding in your hand a limited edition Coquerel calvados, aged in French oak barrels previously used to mature English West Indies Rum.
These rums are among the heaviest and most aromatic due to their long fermentation and pot still distillation.
This aging gives the calvados an elegant mouthfeel, citrus notes, baked apple, and strong vanilla aromas.
The word Rum is linked in many ways to our wonderful Normandy. It was notably discovered that in the 17th century, the word rum originated from the abbreviation of the word rumbullion, derived from the Old Norman "rond-bouillon," which referred to spirits distilled from cider or perry. No matter how you choose to enjoy it, I hope you take as much pleasure in drinking it as we did in blending it.
Cheers!”
