These rums are among the heaviest and most aromatic due to their long fermentation and pot still distillation.
This refining gives Calvados an elegant mouthfeel, lemony notes, cooked apple and strong aromas of vanilla.

The word Rum is linked in many ways to our wonderful Normandy. In particular, it was discovered that in the 17th century, the word rum was born from the abbreviation of the word rumbullion from the old Norman "round-bouillon", which designated alcohols distilled from cider or perry.
