“This Single cask comes from the 1995 harvest, distilled in 1996 and bottled without reduction in November 2020. The exceptionally hot summer of 1995 in Normandy enabled us to obtain very aromatic eaux-de-vie with great aging potential. This barrel restores with great precision and naturalness the style of a very old Calvados: at the same time fruity, slightly smoky and delicately spicy. From its long aging in French oak barrels, notes of caramel, roasting, cocoa, roasted nuts and tobacco of great nobility are extracted.
